Contact me below and we can arrange a free 15 minute consultation to confirm we are a good fit
Our sessions will start with us developing a shared understanding of your current challenges and by making a plan for our time together in therapy
I will use specialist psychological therapy to help you move towards the hopes and goals you have identified at a pace that feels comfortable for you
A therapy session costs £120 per 50 minutes. Any additional charges (such as writing assessment letters on request) will be discussed with you in advance.
I am based in Chichester but also offer online support. I accept self-funded clients and am also registered with Bupa, Aviva, AXA Health, and Vitality Health. I am open to exploring work with other insurance companies so do get in touch if this is relevant to you.
I have compiled a list of the most frequent questions I'm asked about my services. If you can’t find what you are looking for, please feel free to contact me using the button below. It's important to ask anything that comes to mind when picking a therapist, so I encourage you to get in contact.
This can vary a great deal depending on a number of factors. I am happy to offer short- or longer-term intervention depending on an individual’s specific needs. We will discuss this further in our initial session together. Typically, therapy can be anywhere between six and forty sessions, however I am happy to see someone until they feel ready for our sessions to end.
Sessions are typically 50 minutes long but I may adjust the duration based on your needs and circumstances.
Although I understand that people's lives can be busy, and at times unpredictable (with health appointments, child illness, school holidays etc.), research has found that commitment to regular therapy is optimal and, as a result, this is something I strive for.
Of course, do let me know if you need to miss a session, this is understandable. If this becomes a regular occurrence it may be something we need to explore further.
Cancellations with less than 48-hours notice are charged.
Starting therapy can be extremely daunting. It can be something we continue to put off, despite things potentially getting worse and worse. I’ve been there.
It is totally understandable, it is new and different and you may be fearful of what will happen, what will be discussed, or what you will discover. The hardest part is reaching out for the first time but, from that point on, we’ll be here to guide you through the process, at a pace that feels manageable to you. You will not be alone.
Currently most of my appointments are being held virtually through a third-party, secure telehealth online video call services. I do however offer face-to-face appointments on a case-by-case basis in the Chichester (West Sussex) area.
